Welcome to St. Bernard Parish Library. In this online catalog books are listed alphabetically by the authors last name first under the section topic to which the books are assigned. These are the same divisions used in the library indicated by a sticker shape and color. You will have to visit the library to see if a book is available to check out.
Though functionally limited your web browser Find command may be helpful in locating a specific book. Clicking on the color-coded links below will take you to a specific topic within the catalog list. The entire contents of the library collection can be viewed by using the scroll bar. If you would like an Index to the catalog topics included on a catalog page, click the indexed LIBRARY CATALOG. Please allow a little time for loading.
Underlined bolded letters are the Call Numbers listed in the card catalog. Materials are color-coded. Books and AV materials in a category have the same color-code. Color- code guides are located on shelf uprights and on the card catalog file. AV materials are located on the shelf near the door. The card catalog is crossed referenced by title, author, and subject.
